Terms and Conditions

CONDITIONS OF HIRE 

1. DEFINITIONS
(a) The “owner” is the company, firm or person letting the equipment on hire and their successors, assigns or personal representatives.
(b) The “hirer” is the company, firm, person, corporation or public authority taking the company’s equipment on hire and includes their successors or personal representatives.
(c) Equipment covers all classes of equipment and accessories, therefore which the owner agrees to hire to the hirer. 

2. AGE LIMITS
   Under no circumstances must the castles be used by anyone who has reached their 14th birthday                    

3. RESTRICTIONS
(a) The hirer must not allow children onto the castle with (a) FOOD & DRINK (b) SHARP OBJECTS (c) SHOES or (D)   PAINTED FACES.
(b) The castle must not be placed on concrete, shingle, rocks or stone for the duration of the hire period                                                                                                      

4. INSURANCE.
 The insurance cover for the castle carries an excess of £200.00 PLUS carriage costs. In the event of a claim this is payable by the hirer.
                                                   

5. DELIVERY IN GOOD ORDER
The hirer must satisfy themselves that the equipment is in good working order and that the equipment is not damaged in any way upon delivery and set up. Any damage what so ever must be reported within 30 minutes of the owner leaving the hire site otherwise the hirer\s will be held responsible for all claims will be addressed to them. 
                                                                                                                                                         

6. ELECTRICAL
Electrical equipment must be connected to the correct supply. Under no circumstances should electrical equipment be used unless it                  is correctly earthed. You will be supplied with a 13 amp extension lead of approx. 30 feet in length which will have a safety cut of switch fitted. Any further leads used in conjunction with those supplied must be fitted with 13 amp fuses and fitted with appropriate cut out switches and are used at the hirers own risk.
                                                                                                                                        

7. BREAKDOWN
(a) Any break down or unsatisfactory working of any part of the equipment should be notified immediately to the owner.
(b) Full allowance shall be made by the owner to the hirer for any stoppage due to breakdown caused by the development of aninherent fault or fair wear and tear.
(c) The hirer shall be responsible for all expenses involved arising from any breakdown and all lose or damage incurred by the owner due to the hirer’s negligence, misdirection and or misuse of the equipment, whether by the hirer or their servants and for the payment of any and all hire charges that arise during the period that the equipment is necessarily idle due to such breakdown.
(d) Under no circumstances shall the hirer attempt to repair any damaged equipment.
(e) Due to the nature of the equipment that we offer for hire we regret that we are unable to visit sites to affect repairs.
                                                                                                                                                

8. CONSEQUENTIAL LOSES.
The hirer accepts no liability or responsibility for any consequential loss or damage due to or arising from the breakdown or      stoppage of the equipment through any cause whatsoever, or through the non –arrival from accident during the loading, unloading or transport of the equipment.
                                                        

9. HIRER`S RESPONSIBILITY.
The hirer shall fully and completely indemnify the owner in respect of all claims by any person whatsoever for injury to person or property caused by or in connection with or arising from the hiring and use of the equipment and in respect of all costs and charges in connection therewith whether arising under statute or common law.
                                                                                                                                                                            

10. CHARGE FOR LOST EQUIPMENT.
Equipment not returned after hire will be charged for at the manufacturer’s current published retail price list. Hire charges will continue up to the time that the owner is able to adequately replace the lost equipment        

11. CANCELLATION.
(a) All paid hire charges will be forfeited if cancellation is made within 72 hours of the prospective hire date.
(b) The owner reserves the right to make a £20.00 cancellation charge should the booking be cancelled at any other time.
(c) All cancellations should be made in writing or by email as well as by telephone.
(d) The owner reserves the right to cancel and offer full refund in the event of inclement weather.
